Today we began class with SSR. Then we read the poems "Caged Bird" (by Maya Angelou) and "We Real Cool" (by Gwendolyn Brooks). After the silent reading was over we all chose a partner to share our reflection and future map with. Further more, we began going through our Syllabus for the rest of the semester. Some of us completed the Gallery Walk, but many of us didn't.
