We started the day with our poems. So far many scholars seem to have memorized our first poem. Everyone has been put into different table groups where students found their favorite Dialectic Journal from the book, I Am Malala. Ms. Witham quickly explained our "Random Autobiography." Ms. Witham began talking about our Writers Notebook and how it was to be graded. We learned a new strategy, "Save The Last Word." This strategy helps group members to comment and allows students to read their responses. Reading our peers our very own work opens up a a new way to receive constructive feedback. For about 5 minutes, scholars shared their favorite dialectic journal to their table group for a peer review. For another 10 minutes, scholars shared their favorite dialectic journal. Then the class switched over to the Random Autobiography once more.
